Elite 7500 vs Sundance Majesta....Help
« on: July 02, 2005, 07:10:34 pm »
Ok we I have found very little information on the elite brand. I have checked their web site but would like to know what others think about this spa vs a Sundance. Also is this a good deal $5995.00 for Elite 7500 with upgraded ozone, steel jets, cover and lifter( floor model not wet tested) . The Sundance Majesta for $7695.00 ozone, cover and my choice of lifter.

What do you think?

I am probably bias but I love the Sundance Majesta. My wife and I got the spa about a month ago and it is perfect for us. It seats 5-6 adults (closer to 4-5) and has awesome jets and features which include a waterfall and 7 color LED lighting. We compared a few other makes and kept coming back to Sundance. It came down to the Majesta and the Optima. We got the Majesta because it's mainly just the two of us in the spa and the Optima's slightly bigger size was not necessary. You should definitely wet test both spas if you can and see which fits your needs. Also, what are your main objectives of the spa? This may help you narrow your choice as well. Good luck in your search. I am sure you will be happy no matter what you choose  ;D

PGA, also the price you were quoted seems pretty fair for the Majesta. Ours was $7,995 w/o tax. That included the spa cover, ozonator, drink tray, chemicals and delivery.

You might be able to get a slightly better deal on the Majesta.   We paid $7500 plus tax.  This included the ozonator, extra filter, stereo with remote, cover, lifter, stairs, delivery, and start up chemicals.  We have had it for a few days and absolutely love it.  The only problem we have had is the pillow near the control panel pops off occasionaly when you enter the tub and rub against it.

I live just outside Indianapolis in Avon.  We were considering the Tiger River Caspian and the Sundance Majesta.  We were quoted $6500 for the Caspian (without stereo) and all the other extras.  We were really leaning towards the Caspian because the dealer is only a few miles from our house and the Sundance dealer is about 40 minutes away.  I told the sundance dealer about our offer on the Caspian and how we were more comfortable with the location of the Tiger River dealer and he immediately offered the same set up for $7000.  My wife wanted the stereo included at that price and he offered it to us at his cost ($500) and threw in an extra filter.   My wife also liked the waterfall in the Majesta better, and I liked the foot massager.  So we ended up with a better suited tub for us and a got a great deal.  The only potential problem is the long drive to the Sundance Dealer.
