I took my water to get tested to compare to what I was getting from my taylor tester. The chemicals in my tester are a couple of years old and probably need to be replaced. My tester read around 2 on free chlorine and total chlorine. My dealer tested it at 4.4 free chlorine and 5 total chlorine. My CYA was 75 which he says is getting high. He said once it reaches 80 that the chlorine is no longer is very effective at killing bateria. Does this sound correct?
