Crystal Clear Water!

There have been some good discussions on water maintenance lately.

I read where people refer to their water as crystal clear no problems.

Is it fair to say that because your water is clear that does not mean it’s balanced or sanitized?

Clear water is important but one should not accept that alone as all is good?

Crystal water is only one "symptom" of water that could be well balanced and/or properly sanitized.  Cloudy water is only one "symptom" of water that could be poorly balanced and/or poorly sanitized.  Smell and feel (itchiness, foaming, slickness) are also signs of poor water maintenance.  I think it can be concluded that crystal water may not be perfect but it is much closer to perfect than cloudy water.

Many of you have heard me say this before but

BATTERY ACID IS CLEAR! :o

Clarity is one one aspect of water balance. Any of you hot tub owners ever go out to your spa and it looks brutal when the day before it was crystal clear? Obviously, the water had issues even though it was clear at the time and nothing was done to prevent it.

Water care is all about being proactive and not reactive.

Ok, I've read it 4 or 5 times trying to determine if you're trying to be funny and I'm not getting it. ;D Either it's worded so I can't get it or my brain is fried. ;D

We don't warranty nor guarantee the water but I can tell you that life expectancy of water will vary due to the source water and the initial TDS is has. In Edmonton; 3 - 4 months is average. Once TDS has reached 1500 TDS, the water is saturated.

I can write that down and mail it to you if you want it in writing? ??? ;)

OK I think I'm the one who just said that my water is crystal clear.

Well the graduate had a party in the spa last night ( hubby and I had to go to the cabin to check out storm damage from a tornado) anyway it must have been quite a party.... >:( >:(

BTW we knew nothing of this and didn't give permission for it.

Some of the things found in my spa today...

An empty beer can, wine cooler labels, miller beer labels,
a nose plug, a snorkal, a plastic boat, a mushy substance I'm guessing is some kind of snack food, and someones bikini was on the top of the skimmer basket.

A few weeks ago I posted that I was going to be an emotional mess when this kid shipped out to bootcamp next month. Today I'm ready to drive him to Chicago myself!

My water was both balanced and sanitized the day before. A wild party with I'm guessing lots of users soaking for long amounts of time, and beer spillage, can mess your water up beyond repair and it's better to just dump it.

There's something wrong when my kid is getting more action in my spa than I am.

OH YEAH! Underwater Recon! NAVY: It's NOT just a job, it's an ADVENTURE!

BTW, is "Navy Diver" on his list of career interests?

THAT'S my kind of PARTY!

Remember, you only have that kid once. When you see him walking away in a few weeks just like you did on that first day of kindergarden, it will feel ALOT different...

This is the exact reason why MY SON.....will never ever ever ever get to have a party in MY hot tub!!!!!! what is wrong with these kids now adays? When I was their age if we got caught doing something like that, our partents would have tanned our hides for it and then grounded us no matter what age we were!

Sorry about the brashness of my post here, I'm having some problems with my 19 year old he got caught stealing my pain meds and I'm still furious with him (btw he got thrown out of the house for this too)
