How much water will evaporate each day if the tub is not used.  I am trying to figure out if I have a leak.

If the cover is not removed I would think that there should be little or no real evaporation from the tub - not enough that you would notice in a short period of time.

it's about 2 centemeters, 3/4 inch in 24 hours.  The cover has been on and there is a puddle at the low end of the concrete.

Sounds like you have a leak my friend.

Isn't your tub brand new?

1 week, they want to take it back to there shop and pick it apart for signs of a leak, I would rather have a new tub.

That's unfortunate.

Can they not send a tech out to your house to address the problem?

Is your tub FF?

Yes it's FF and they can send a tech out but they want to remove the foam and watch it in there shop for a couple of days just in case it's not where they think the leak is, what is common practice from dealers with leaking tubs in the first week??
