Cooling down the water temp
« on: June 09, 2005, 08:20:19 pm »
This is my first  year with my hot tub , and its been good to me so far. My question is pretty simple , i think. I live in New England and we are getting some pretty hot weather finally. I have a Caldera Martinque and I set the temp to about 80 degrees and put it into summer mode. I would like to know about how long it will take to get the temp to drop . It has been about 4 days and it still reads 95 degrees. I am still new at this stuff and any input would be great ! Thanks

Try propping up the cover to allow more heat to escape.  The fact that your spa is taking so long to cool down is a good thing.

If you have a blower on that spa (the Calderas I wet tested did), you could run it, with the top off.
