cement finished
« on: June 09, 2005, 07:07:11 am »
I just finished the cement job.  I added alot of extra work to make my hot tub look a little better.

We added stamped borders, colour cement, and exposed agrigate.  I made a two tiered patio as well.  The one patio is 14 by 14 for the hot tub with a six inch step down to the second patio.

I have pictures that I will add to a website this week which outlines, the parts for wiring and the set up of the patio.  I will update like back pains.

The good news, I am ordering the tub earlier than I was going to.  I should have it by end of july.

Did you do the concrete work yourself?

Do post the pics, I'm curious to see the concrete, bet it looks nice.

No I hired somebody.  I did over 2000sqft. of concrete.  I did a 40x14 patio, both sides of my house and the front driveway and steps.  they used 5 truck loads of cements for everything.

That would have taken me all summer to do myself.  I will take the photos hopefully today and post them.

Sounds like it should be awsome. We are doing the same except we went with pavers... doing approx. 2000 sqft. Plus concrete slab for inclosed porch(future) and spa. Can't wait to see your picyures.
