The spa is in place, the electrical hooked up - now the chemicals...

I put a N2 cartidge in the filter and metal gone in -- the dealer told me to wait until the tub heats up to at least 95, then check the water and go from there. They spit everything out very quickly (need to set an appointment for them to come by and do a full walk thorugh).  In the mean time - I will wait for the water to heat, then call back for more instructions.

What do others do / recommend when starting up?  How long does it usually take to bring the tub up to proper temp/sanitation?

Our Optima heats about 4 or 5 degrees per hour.

Some very wise men (and you know who you are  :-*) told me to remember that this is the same water you bathe in!  I soaked the first day without adding anything!  It was a Monday night, I did make sure and put a couple of teaspoons of dichlor in when I got out.  The dealer came by on Tuesday to show me  what I needed to do from there!
