For anyone in the metro DC area following this soap opera, I just spent some time putting in a bunch of zip codes into the SD site, trying to find other dealers. With Schirmer's covering Manassas (western DC 'burbs in VA), Falls Church (closer in western burbs in VA) and Rockville (DC burbs in MD), the whole metro DC area is wiped.
I came up with the Ace Hardware (in Glen Burnie and Edgewater/Annapolis) that was mentioned in this thread, and they sound very friendly and knowledgable; I *gather* they are having talks with SD about expanding over here, but can't say anything publically yet, of course.
Okay, hm, wait for that to get settled, or move to Annapolis... well, we always wanted to live on the Chesapeake Bay...
