I am due to have my spa delivered today -- just checked weather.com and the 10 day extended forecast has rain all 10 days!

Any problems with using the tub in the rain???

Heck NO!

Rain is a great time to use it, just make certain it's NOT during a T-storm.

Also, based on personal experience (as avid readers of this forum know from my previous posts), make CERTAIN you have a hidden key to get back in the house in the event you leave your dry clothes inside and like tubbing "au natural."

Enjoy!

nearly choked on my drink trying to read that one! way too funny.....should have warned me first.
no stories to compare to that yet..... but who knows?
(DEFINITELY putting a spare key on back deck)

i agree that being in the tub in a lite rain when its warm out, is a great time. (and hey, its kinda like jiffy lube, tops off your water while you wait ;D ;D)

No problem using the tub in the rain over here, but I would caution against using the tub when you see lightning and thunder.  It doesn't have to be a major thunderstorm to get lightning.

Here is a little blurb from the National Lightning Safety Institute regarding pools.  I imagine it isn't much different for spas:

What a way to start the week. Thanks for the laugh. Had not seen the original post. And your neighbour will now look towards your house more frequently so less possibility of a break-in huh!

very funny.  I only hope that does not happen to me.  I have sliding doors and I will never get in.

Thanks for the laugh
