new tub -- Spa Secret, magnetic, N2, ?
« on: April 30, 2005, 07:22:57 am »
I was just looking (as recommended in another post) at the info at rhtubs.com about santitizers.  Now I'm more confused...

Does anyone use spa secret?  How about the magnetic attachment?  How about N2? Do these work and does it make sense to use them from day 1?

My tub will come with an ozonator and I plan to use chlorine (only because I have a pool and thought it should be consistent?)

What do other folks use -- I really don't want to become a chemist but as everyone else, I want clean water  8)

Gman,

There are alot of attachments you can add to your spa to assist in maintaining your chemical balance. To be honest with you, other than ozone, daily MPS and weekly DiChlor, ph, alkalinity adjustment, I don't use anything else.
Take it for what it's worth.

I'm just of the opinion that magnets are used too much in this country to things that really can'y be proven. Wife use to sell Nikken.

Hot water is different from pool water.  DO NOT use POOL chemicals, ie liquid chlorine or tablet chlorine.  I don't know what kind of spa you have but pool chemicals are a NO, NO.
