Just a question about D1. I ordered a Chairman II on the 7th of February thru my local D1 dealer and am still awaiting delivery. Does anyone know if the company is having shipping issues (as my dealer suggests) or is he playing some kind of game with me???

My D1 Sarena Bay was order on Tuesday 4/12 and will be here in 3 weeks.  My dealer was just down at the plant  (San Diego area?) last week and saw everything working smoothly.

You got an issue with your dealer.

We order and have the truck at our door in 3 to 4 weeks max.....

Multiple orders this year so far.

I am not saying D1 is perfect, nearly stating that they are shipping.

What state are you in?  City?

Phil, I'm in Southern Delaware.

Board, does anyone have a contact number for D1? I would like to hear their side of my order problems. Dealer is convincing on his side

While I can't comment on your dealer mugsy, I can say that even waaaaaaaay up in Canada we typically receive our D1 spas about 3 weeks after the order confirmation date.  We are moving into a really busy season right now, but...

BTW, I forgot to say, "Congrats!".  The Chairman II is an amazing hot tub.  Once you get the spa running in your backyard you'll be able to look back at this challenge as a minor bump in the road.  Good luck!

Is it possible that your dealer is holding back your order, waiting for a full truckload to save on shipping costs?

p.s.  E-mail Stuart, or go over to rhtubs or poolandspa and post this, so he sees it.  This is the kind of D1 issue he was excellent about helping straighten out when he was on this board.

Soakin is thinking the same as me!  Your dealer may be trying to lessen his shipping costs!

Stuart posted his email and it may still be in his profile!  I'll check!
