Dealer gone... now what?
« on: April 01, 2005, 09:12:30 pm »
So...  After all the debating about which spa to buy, we made our decision mostly based on how much we loved the local Sundance dealer.   Well, 8 months later and they're gone.  They still have a store that's about 2 hours away that I can call for support but that's a long way to go for supplies.

Anyone know of a place online that you can purchase Sundance supplies?  Things like MicroFilters and socks for the footwell are mostly what I'm interested in.

Any thoughts?

Try www.shepnell.com.  I'm pretty sure they stock what you're looking for, at least for the microfilter.

Others may have more choices.  I've not done business with this company, so I can't recommend personally.

Have you tried calling that farther away dealer?  Maybe they'd sell to you over the phone, by their web site if they have one, or mail order.  Might be worth asking.

Just buy your microfilters a years worth at a time.  Also, if there are any Jacuzzi dealers near you they also may have filters and socks for Sundance.  A Jacuzzi dealer near my office did, but then they up and moved away.

Here is a place to get the micro filters, price went up $1 since I bought them from here.  They were very fast in shipping.

Oh and those guys you posted Tubber, I tried to use their site but kept getting caught in a loop where it kept emptying my cart when I tried to check out.  May have been a bad day (for them and/or me  ;D ).

Hi Bulmer, we heard the bad news too.  I sent an email to the Greensboro office asking about local source for Sundance stuff, I'll forward to you if I get a reply.  We've been ordering all water maintenance stuff from rhtubs.com and had no problems at all.

Thanks for all the replies.  At least I know there are other options than a two hour drive.  8)

Do you work for NESPAS?  It is where I purchased my spa.

You must work for Sundance directly.  Do you work the NE region?
