Are there any Brits here?
« on: March 17, 2005, 02:07:19 pm »
I have been living in Calgary since Otober 2004. I am about to go home to the UK and my Hot Tub will be close behind!

I have to admit to making my purchase with no research or Wet Testing, but from now on I will be utilising the depth of knowledge here. Thanks.

So are there any other British members of the forum?

Yes you will need  50 cycle motors. Depending on the spa you may need other items changed also.

Some Gecko packs have a switch or jumper for 50/60 Htz. Not sure about Balboa.

Well I guess that counts ;-) but I was hoping to pick someones brains who lives in the UK. I don't know anyone with a Hot Tub/Spa.

Regarding electricity, my tub is being built to order to UK requirements, so it should be fine.

Thanks for the reminder tho.

So excited
:D

Hi Guzzler, I live in Essex, work in London.

Send me your phone number and I will ring you. We bought a spa last year and I have a fair amount of research I can share with you.
