Sundance Altamar

I just bought a Sundance Altamar. Very good persuasive salesman talked me in to it. Paid $7900 for tub, cover, LED light and ozinator. No music. Did I pay too much and is that a highly recommended tub. I found an LA spa tub today with more features and less money. La spa salesman claims Sundance is overpriced and overrated. Is that true?

The price seems pretty reasonable in the Pennsylvania market. Quite honestly, I don’t think most professionals would put LA Spas on the same level as Sundance.
The Altamar isn’t their most popular model with a lounge; that honor goes to the Cameo. I like the fact that the Altamar’s lounge is designed for shorter people.

kw,
Nice choice. If you are shorter than 6'1" the Altamar is a great spa. The price is very competitive also. I wouldn't even consider an LA Spa with the likes of a Sundance product.
Sundance has been around for quite some time. Nice job.
By the way, who was your salesperson, first name only.

KW,
I wet tested the Altamar, when I was searching, as well as a few LA Spa models!
You got a great tub!!!
May you always have clean, hot, bubbly water!!!

lori,
Apparently kw didn't get clean, hot bubbly water. What
he got was some old californian water that sat in the
plumbing for god knows how long. He'll be ok though, I
think he understands the remedy. It happens alot...

In my area, the Altamar outsells the Cameo....No. 2 behind the ever popular Optima.
Great Spa. Congrats.

Hi there...You will love the Altamar. I've had mine for almost a year now and I can't say enough about it. You won't regret it. I'm 5'6" so I fit perfetly in the lounge, which, as it turns out, is my favorite seat. Although I have had taller people in the tub and have heard no complaints about the size. I wouldn't worry unless you are 6'4"!
I think you made the right choice over the LA spa - hands down...and I agree the price you paid was in line with what I paid out here in California...
Relax & enjoy.

I'm seriously considering the Altamar too and the best price I've found in GA is 8k on sale w/o the ozonator.
