Put at least 3 ounces of DiChlor shock in the spa and let it run for about one hour. Turn the heat all of the way down, you don't want to heat water that you are going to dump.
DO NOT put anything else in the water. Drain the spa tonight, wipe it down, remove any of the black pieces that may be sitting in the spa and hose down the filter.
Refill tonight and be ready to use in the AM.

PS. I believe the particles that are coming out of the jets are from the stagnant water from testing at the factory. It is a sort of algae. Non harmful, though.
