Although I bought an Artesian and would love to tell you buy it - find yourself another dealer.

If you have questions before you buy, that's not a good thing.

In my town, I have seen both Hot Springs and Sundance and am sure you could be happy with either of those. (No Artic dealers near me)

Welcome to the state of confusion.

Some dealers will tell you the more pumps the more problems (I have heard that also) and YES theoretically they are right but if you keep your water chemistry good more than likely the pumps will last you a long time. AND I have had a dealer selling one therapy pump systems include the circ pump in his pump count - that was the same dealer who told me about the more pumps the more problems - I guess he had pump envy!

Not knowing which Artesian series your looking at - the Platinum has 5 therapy pumps plus a circ pump,  the Gold has 3 pumps plus a circ pump and Island series can have up to 3 pumps and a circ pump.

Hot Springs and Sundance seem to be nice tubs - they have a large group of happy owners. In my opinion they are pricey but some will argue you get what you pay for. I didn't have a chance to see Arctic. As for Artesian, I bought the Island series and found it to have the best "bang for the buck" in my opinion.

But as I said if you don't like the dealer don't buy from them. The one downside with Artesian is they don't have the dealer network that Hot Springs or Sundance has and if you have a problem and the dealer is not responding or out of business - what are you going to do?

You found a good place to get a lot of good info.

Good Luck!

I figured whomever started it, had come back and deleted their posts, to make it look weird.  I've seen it happen a couple of times.  I usually miss the good stuff (or the bad, depending on your point of view)!

Vinny, can you remember who started it?
