Partial water change
« on: February 03, 2005, 10:48:00 am »
Anyone do a partial water change? It is cold in Ohio and I am looking to buy some time, just a few weeks, until a full change. I am not experiencing any real water problems, but have some out of town folks coming in for the weekend and the spa will get some heavy use.

I am using Bromine and figure a half water change with a half pack of Leisure Time Reserve thrown in will buy me some time to find a warm day.

Yes, I will, and yes I am.  My water was last changed Nov1st and it still looks great (but I'm do for a full change)  You know how are weather has been. Given that we may hit 50 this Sunday, if I don't do a total change, I will probably drain off 50gallons with a 5 gallon bucket, change the filters and shock. That will hold me a while.
