Bill said you all got your choice of premium luxury sedans, but not to tell anyone.
Brewman just hit 900 posts! Any moment now he's going to break loose and do some serious posting to hit the 1000 mark! Then he can get what Bill, Chas and I got when we hit it.....um....Bill did you get anything?
maybe you had better slow down Brewman. Didn't Chas get demoted back to a newbie
He didn't get demoted, he has an older meter and it just rolled over....
Wmccall, what is a limey?I seem to remember it is a derogitory term for a person from the United Kingdom. Is this correct? If so, is it perfectly acceptable to make those kind of comments on this board? Thanks
Hmm, question asked and answered by a newbie's 1st post Correct, it was once (hundreds of years ago) a derogatory term used for British sailors. This came about because the Royal navy found thier sailors who were at sea for months were contracting scurvy because of the lack of vitamin C and limes were the only citrus product, high in vitamin C that wouldn't spoil on long voyages. While once was a derogatory term is actually a tribute to British ingenuity don't you think? That satifiy you Gerre, err I mean Spalover?
I am positively rolling on the floor with this one. Wife is British and can build on this.
