My power company worked on the lines outside and had to disconnect the power while no one was home. When the power was restored, something happened to the tub, because I came home to it smelling hot, with the temperature at 112deg and the OH error.

I turned off the power, then back on, opened the cover. The low speed pump ran (automatically) while it cooled down �to the normal temperature. I ran the aerator to help it along.

All seemed ok, both pumps, aerator, circulator and heater seems to work fine, but after about 20 minutes of running on the low speed pump, I get a FLO error and everything stops.

Has the pressure sensor on the 2 speed pump gone bad?

I am way out of the warranty, so I would attempt to replace it myself if that is all it is.

The first thing I would do is pull your filter, reset power, leave the filter out and see if it still does it.

It sounds like you either have a dirty filter or an air lock in the pump....

I think the controller is wacked.

I took out the filter, and it runs through it's cycle, but whenever a pump is turned off automatically.For example if I start the 2 speed at low and let it run for 20min at which time it is turned off, or if the circulator pump doesn't need to run after it reaches a certain temperature and is turned off by the controller, about 5sec after those events, the FLO error is displayed and everything is stopped.

I did discover that the controller is under a 5yr warranty and I bought the tub in 2001, so I have a call into the local dealer.

Mine did the same thing after the pump turned off. �It was a bad flow switch. �It was shorted on all the time wether there was flow or not. �

Do you know if the flow switch is normally open?

I just checked mine and it's closed with no flow.

Mine might be covered under warranty, so I haven't done too much until I hear from the dealer.

I think it was suppose to be open with no flow. It was about two years ago so I may be wrong. The service department should be able to tell you.

It was the flow switch.

Since it was under warranty, I didn't want to admit that I had been in the control panel snooping around.
