Neither Ozone or Ions will sanitize your tub water on there own or together. You will need a primary sanitizer to think about first and use those to help reduce the amount of sanitizer. Dichlor is (sodium dichloro-s-triazmetrione dihydrate) Chlorine formulated for the higher temperatures of spa water.

I am using Spa Guard Enhanced Shock, which I think contains Dichlor, MPS and some PH buffers. I also use straight MPS to shock.
