okay then... if you enjoy all the glitz of vegas showgirls then you will love the Catalina. I found them to be the tub with the most bells and whistles with the least attention to engineering and little common sense - the dealer in my area had a large poster of the warranty on the wall with all the numbers crossed out and smaller numbers to replace them.

at your request... I didn't hold back

The only comment I have is be careful comparing warranties as there is one item that they may not tell you unless you ask. I think you'll find Catalina's warranty is prorated so if they have an "X" yr warranty on the pumps it may be 100% the first yr (or two) but then it'll be 75% and then 50% etc. where they pay part and you pay part. Meanwhile almost all other major brands have a 100% warranty so if its covered 100% of the parts and labor are covered for the time its warranted, not just a portion.

corman,
empolgation and I both have Marquis and from his posts I would say that he is every bit as happy as I am. What area are you in?

What part of Southern Cal as that's a huge area? In that part of the country you probably have options for most/all of the big players (Hot Spring, Caldera, Sundance, Jacuzzi, Marquis, D1 in no particular order would be my recommendation).
