High PH

I have always had trouble getting my ph and alkalinity  down after changing water.  I thought I would try muriatic acid this time.  I added about two cups first day.  Added about 1 cup three days later.  Added 1/2 cup ph down a few days later.  I had my water tested and it is still 8.2 ph and 185 alkalinity.  This is crazy.  It is cheaper using the acid but the results where not any better.  The ph would drop like a rock for a day or so after adding the acid but by the third day was back high again.  There has to be a better way.

Search thru to find a thread about "slugging" it will solve your problem.  If you cant find it let me know and I'll send the formula to you.
Measure once, cut twice.
