You can put a concrete pad in for not much more if not the same price but then you have to pay a fee for minimum haul on short yardage and it is permanent!
Well, I don't know. I have a large patio in the front of my house. We don't like it, and want to get it removed - bids are coming in at around $300 to break it up and haul it away. Now one important note: we have a rock quarry nearby which only charges about $10 per load to dump broken concrete. No min or max size load !! They recycle it. But if not for that low price to dump the stuff, I still don't think it's a big deal to put in a slab, enjoy it and then have it removed.
