I have not been to this site in years.   I have a 20 year old Thermospas Manhattan tub.  I still works.. One of the pumps has been broken for years but we do not really use the pumps so  I decided not to fix it.

My tub I think uses a ton of electricity...  I would not be surprised if it costs me $150-$200 a month. I live in NY and keep it heated all the time.

I don't use the tub that much but my adult sons and their use it.

I was thinking I could replace my existing spa with a new one and the savings on electric would pay for the tub.

I don't want to pay 25K for a spa.  I found one from D\r. Wellness which seems very reasonable.   Also the costco spas are incredibly reasonable as well.

Has anyone replaced their older tub with a new tub and saved a lot on elenctic?

One other thing. I am on a time of use plan with my tub which means that the electric is much less after 10 pm so would want a tub that lets you program the time it runs.
