A complaint about my BC750

Thanks for the laugh guys.

Although we had if for so short a time, we were very happy with our BC, and the dealer we got it from.  I can't see us changing tubs.

A new BC750 will be on the way soon I hope.

I was surprised, my insurance company didn't seem to flinch at the tub prices they got for quotes.

I did... and here it is.

So, what set the deck on fire? When the BBQ exploded? Or did the deck being on fire cause the BBQ to explode?

Deck was on fire THEN CAUSED the BBQ to explode.
They do not know what started the deck fire.
It is even more odd that the deck was wet that morning from rain the night before.

The fire started at the opposite end of the deck as the tub.  There is no electrical there.

The fire inspector wanted to blame the tub wiring.
But the first person on the scene was a volunteer fireman who was driving by, and called it in.  He says there was no fire on that whole section of deck until the BBQ tank blew.

Then the inspector said he had no clue.

Maybe the culptrit is a jealous owner who has a broken down H@^#N spa. Good thing no one was hurt and all that was damaged is replaceable.

I've pretty much given up on ever finding out.
In some ways that bothers me, on the other hand, with relatively minor losses, I don't really care.

What a blessing this guy came by on a couple of senses. A, faster respone and less damage, and if the inspector had managed to blame the wiring, perhaps the insurance agency would have went after the Electrician.

when i was a child my aunt's house burned down.  she lived with another aunt of mine who was killed in the fire.  as it turned out,  the volunteer fireman who was the one to call in the fire, actually started the fire.

While 99.9% of volunteer fireman are probably honorable wonderful people, I think some potential firebugs are drawn to the excitement.  My sister's first husband was a mortician, we learned after they were married he had a record for starting fires as a volunteer.  As far as I know today, it was a coincidence that after she married him somebody wrote in to Dear Abby (true story) saying that her new husband was a mortician and he insisted shey lay in a bath tub of icewater before coming to bed.   Ok, any other occupations to bash?  I'm an IT Manager

Well, I can't think of one to bash - at least not that would be funny - but I can think of a great job I know about:

I read about the guys who operate the big flying tankers. The ones who refuel aircraft at altitude..

The guy who operates the boom lays in a prone position looking out a little window in the very back of the plane. He described his job this way,
