Funny how it goes that way when the spa is what got so many of them in that situation in the first place.

I disagree with all those who say "trust your doc the most."  There are plenty of un-informed docs out there. Plenty.

I've always heard "no hot tubs" when pregnant. Personally, I stayed out for both of mine.

Do research, consider all of your personal needs (e.g., if your blood pressure is a little high while pregnant, don't do it), and use common sense.

Good points.   Back in early 1984 I was 25 and didn't wear seat belts. I thought they were uncomfortable and probably didn't really do much.  Within 2 weeks Ohio passed mandatory seat belt laws and my daughter was born.  As we were leaving the hospital I thought, if there was a one in a million chance that wearing the seat belt would increase my daughter's odds of having a father, it was worth it.  

If you have any doubts what so ever, go with your heart.  My wife didn't take any medications (prescription or over the counter) didn't have any caffeine or added salt for 9 months, so my sacrifice was small.

Blood pressure and heart conditions are also impacted by the temperature of the tub and not the water/sanitizer or anything else from a hot tub.

I think Nature-2 lets you appreciate the fullness of labor pains, bromine results in a boy (brother of mine), dichlor causes twins, ozone is what happened to Ozzy Osborne, and MPS is often accompanied by cramps.
