Bromoblast

Has anyone used a product from Beachcomber (not available in the US) called Bromoblast?   If so, is it possible (or advisable) to use this product in a spa which is setup for a two part bromine system? Or should I stick with Bromate.

Get the shovel out buddy. We are due to receive up to 25cm of snow today. I'm guessing you cowboys will get some of it too.

Bromoblast is great. It replaces bromide & bromate and is both products in one. If you have bromate, you will need a 1/4 cup to shock. With Bromoblast, it is far more concentrated and a capful is lots! Use up your remaining bromate and continue on with bromoblast. Start with small quantities and test. Half a capful is lots just to increase your bromine 2 or 3 ppm. It's far less expensive in the long run and you are putting less product in the water keeping your TDS lower.

Your dealer should be able to give you a start-up & weekly maint. sheet on bromoblast.

Steve;

Does HydroPool have a private brand of spa chems? Did you sell SpaGuard with the Beachcomber store or the HydroPool store? Just curious.

Hey HTM;

I sold SpaGuard when at Beachcomber. The dealer I was at for Hydropool was using Omni which almost everyone was very happy with as well.

Hydropool doesn't have a branded chemical line as of yet.
