Cut out the middleman?
« on: October 14, 2004, 01:48:16 pm »
I was on PoolandSpa .com. There was ad top right "cut out the middleman" So I clicked on it. Here is the link:

http://www.spas-direct.com/paraspecial.htm

Here is the funny part, they are offering franchises......

So, will this company be selling spas via the internet where I live if I buy a franchise? Won't I now be the middleman that the advertising was suggesting that you "cut out"? I don't get it.

I checked American Spa and Pool at their "FACTORY" located in the Warren, OH area. They do not really seen to be much more that a distributor for a spa that is made in the Tampa, FL area. I could not locate the actual manufacturer under the same brand name so I got the impression they buy from someone else and apply their own label. I did not get the warm and fuzzies from them so I walked away.
