I had been using a scumbug sponge in my hot tub, and came out one morning, lifted the cover to find a huge amount of ants in one corner of the tub surrounding the sponge close to a headrest.
I routinely had rinsed the sponge under hot water, but that said it was probably at least a month old, so maybe was dirty enough to attract them??? My wife was NOT happy.... lol....
Cleaning them out didn't take too long, but they kept coming back until I made a strong bleach mixture and scrubbed the entire outer shell of the tub, as well as the cover and the deck around the tub, guess I had to get rid of the scent trail they leave...
Anyone else had issues with ants??
