Need help with a water union gasket....sizing?
« on: June 17, 2021, 01:58:44 pm »
I've got one of the inflatable Saluspas, the Paris model.  I the gasket for the water union is shredded.  I'm seeing it may not be a standard sizing.  Internally it's ~1.5" and externally it's ~1.75" in diameter.

Any idea what the specific part/sizing is and maybe where I can find it?

I'm guessing I can order one from Bestway (parent company) but they'll charge me $40-$50.  I'd like to see if I can find a better one, maybe silicone, aftermarket.

Thanks!!

One of your local pool/spa stores will likely have one for a ton less. Use silicone based lubricant to extend it's life.

Stopped into the local pool/spa shop.  Got some sideways looks and was told those parts for the inflatables are really brand-specific and they had nothing remotely similar.

Silicone-based lube....I have cases of Uberlube which is a high quality silicone lube, but it's meant for sex.  Will that work?  Silicone is silicone...no?

Thanks
