I was given a free 3 person leisure bay hot tub in pretty good condition. It was a friend of mines and it worked perfect 5 years ago. Him and his wife got a divorce and it sat for 5 years. It needs a new cord. It was chewed by his dog and “repaired” with wire nuts and electrical tape. When I plug it in nothing happens. Gfci plug doesn’t light up or anything. It also needs a new cover. Expensive I know. I have a salt water generator I don’t use that has a 110v gfci plug on it. I wonder if I could use that and just wire it up. If not, where is the best place to get a plug ASAP? I have no retailers local to me. Thanks in advance.
