Hi all, I’ve been doing lots of reading. We started down the hot tub path, but even though they are insanely hideous when freestanding, swim spas have caught our eye.
Not for the swimming aspect, but the space consideration. We started looking at larger hot tubs to allow my kids to splash a bit, but the foot wells are typically small and that’s obviously not what hot tubs are intended for.
Any intel on good swim spas meant for mostly recreation? The swim current is actually not needed...however the options are extremely limited when it comes to excluding that so I know that will be part of the deal.
We want freestanding and smaller (12 to 15 ft) with two spa seats. Any recommendations? The last post I saw on this was from 2006.
PS. I know installation may be heinou$...haven’t gotten that far yet. There’s only about 10 feet between our house and the neighbors...
