Wife and I have wet tested both the Caldera Salina and the Artesian Antigua Elite.
We want the Caldera Tahitian but the dealer said Caldera is not taking orders so it could be several months but is offering an incentive at 11k plus tax. Includes delivery, cover, start up kit. We both noticed the freshwater salt system provided a nice soft water skin feeling after we got home.
We also tested the Artesian Antigua Elite which we really liked especially since it includes many of the same features as the Tahitian but at $8750 plus tax with delivery, cover, and start up kit. However after we got out of the tub we certainly didn't have the same soft skin feeling we did from the Caldera.
The dealer for Artesian said they are not running the Frog@Ease cartridges in the test model like you would at home.
Our Question:
Does the @Ease system make a significant impact on the softness of the water and how your skin will feel after leaving the tub??....it sucks we couldn't actually get the full experience during the wet test.
It's important to my wife we have a nice feeling after leaving the tub without dry itchy skin but it's also a lot less expensive to get the same features in Antigua Elite minus the salt water system and the Artesian dealer says they have less trouble with the Artesian spas then they've experienced with Salt systems and other tubs.
