I've got a rather unique shade need for my spa. The location of the spa is covered with trees on 3 sides and above. The open-to-the-sky side is just right for the 3pm-to-sunset sun to cut like a knife at a 45 degree angle right into the spa, making that coveted early evening time unpleasant to just lounge in the spa. That open side happens to be
entry side of the spa as well.
Most spa umbrellas have a single directional "tilt" on the plane of the cantilever pole itself like
https://www.leisureconcepts.com/products/spa-accessories/spaumbrella. That movement lets you move the shade from the top to the side where the umbrella base is mounted or placed.
I obviously can't place the umbrella base (or mount) where the stairs to enter the spa is, so what I really need is an umbrella that has a side tilt option which would allow me to mount (or place) the umbrella on one of the sides of the spa and then tilt the umbrella on it's side so that it can block the sun cutting in on the entry side. Similar to this one -
https://authenteak.com/treasure-garden-13-akz-plus-octagonal-cantilever (Pic #3 in the listing shows the movement I need). The problem with that one is that it's $1200 and it uses a base where I'd prefer to have something anchored under the spa like most spa umbrellas.
Has anyone seen, used, bought a side tilting spa umbrella as described? Ideally one that's not $1200?
