We have a 2013 Jacuzzi 345 which suffered freezing damage
When filled, there was a small leak at the discharge connection of the circulation pump. Otherwise tub ran fine.
We let it drip till freezing weather was over this week (April 2019)
I removed the circulation pump, and found the nut on the discharge was cracked, presumably due to frost
Replaced the nut and reinstalled the pump with new O-ring seals. No leaks
After refilling we have an FL1 error and the heater will not swith on.
The circulation pump runs (makes noise, strong suction at filter, flow switch flapper kicks across to stopper)
We tried "removing air lock) procedure in manual
Tried disconnecting wire from flow switch to panel. No difference
Ran without filters, still have error
We have 220v across J7 and J8, on K7
Zero volts across J9 and J 10, which feed the heater from K8
Are K7 and K8 removable/replaceable? What are they?
Heater resistance is 10 ohms, which fits the spa specs
To get at the pump, I removed the four wood screws holding the contorl box in place and swing it sideways, pulling on some of the wires quite hard. I am concerned that I damaged one, but can see no signs of damage.
What to do?
If I jump across the terminals for the flow switch at J3 on the board, what will happen?
Is is possible that the flow switch is faulty although the paddle moves?
In normal operation is the flow switch supposed to be open or closed? The manual implies that both open and closed are malunctions. (FL1 open, FL2 closed)
