I would prefer to hear about the lower failer rate of maker X vs Y than the lower cost of replacement.  It would be great if the companies could give real info like failure rates, customer satisfaction surveys, etc.  How do we get Consumer Reports to evaluate spas?

I remember when shopping for a tub, one dealer pulled out a jet and showed us a small plastic piece on the inside of the jet.  He claimed his manufacturer was the only spa maker in the world to use these pieces.
