Buying a D1 Amore Bay
« on: August 03, 2018, 12:54:17 pm »
Hello! I’m brand new to the forum and hot tub industry. I’m purchasing a new house and would like to add a hot tub as soon as I move in. My current top choice is a D1 Amore Bay. I talked to a couple of local dealers and found a floor model with sound system for $12,000 plus tax and was quoted $14,995 plus tax for a brand new unit from the factory with sound system. These both include all of the standard add ons (cover, install, chemicals, etc). Does this seem like good pricing or should there be room for further negotiation? I appreciate any and all help!

Welcome to the forum. I haven't priced tubs since 2013, but D1 seems like a good brand. Where are you located?

That's a great price and I doubt there is much wiggle room, though it can't hurt to try.  When I sold them we wouldn't have let one go that cheap, even without the stereo.
