So... I'm a DIY on this hot tub, but not not choice. I have beat my head against the wall trying to get anyone to work on this hot tub, but no one will touch it because it's 25 years old and it's in my basement. I have a good pair of pliers to get this piece to move, but I'm putting a lot of pressure on it, and I'm afraid that I'm going to break the drain off of the tub. Any ideas? I can't seem to attach a picture to this post.... so, it's a transparent piece and I can see that there's likely silicone throughout the piece.
This is where the water drains out and towards the pump and heater right under the filter. If anyone can help me to post a pic, I'll gladly post it. When I click on attach an image, I get this -
