2018 Bullfrog R7 Pricing
« on: March 21, 2018, 10:51:07 am »
Hello All,

First post, but I've been trolling for awhile.

I own a 1995 Sundance Marin and it's seen better days.  Looking into a Bullfrog R7.

Two questions:

-I'm in Northeast Ohio and getting rid of this Sundance, and if there are takers, please PM me.
-I'm being quoted in the $7400 range plus tax for the R7 with recirc pump, ozone (base I assume), and matching acrylic jetpacks.  Thoughts on cost?

Thanks!

Yes go buy it immediately.   That price is beyond insane!  Were at 9695.00 with no circ or ozone.

That's a great price. I paid a little less than that for a R6L. But before they delivered it, I changed my mind and upgraded to a A7L. Bracket creep is so easy on these things....

I just got an R5 for $5800. But that did include a $500 factory rebate. So I really paid $6300 which I think is a good price.

That is a ridiculous price.  I would not sell that spa anywhere close to that low.  Hell, that's less than most dealers sell the R6 for.  Does that include cover, delivery, chemicals, ozone, steps, cover lift, or any of that stuff?  It's a great deal even if it didn't include any of that.  As stated, most dealers should be at least in the mid $9k range for that spa.

This price includes recirculation pump, entry ozone, matching acrylic jetpacks, and cover.  I'm not too concerned about the chemicals, I'll make custom PVC steps to house chemicals inside, includes delivery (of which, i may pickup myself because I have a nice aluminum trailer to do so - which may drop the price more), and no cover lift.  This is a cash price if this makes any difference.  If so, does that change everyone's opinion?

Is there currently a factory rebate on the R7?  If so, I didn't see one...

Have them deliver it, unless it's a super easy delivery.  And at that price cash or not go buy the thing before the owner realizes the salesman screwed up and fires him.

Yep, that's a fantastic deal.  Would laugh if someone offered that to me.

Are you in Michigan?

I was dialed in on a "R" series.  Glad I spent a little more and got the A.  The extra switches around the tub are really useful.  Also, the touch screen is much more user friendly. If you got a dealer willing to price a tub like that, it might only be another $700 for A series.

thanks for heads up - i didn't think the pricing would be that close, but we will see.  what's the main advantage besides an additional jetpack?

edit:  just read through this, not sure if it's worth it; i too like the simple controller, but we shall see...

I just wet tested this R7 out today. My wife and I love it and are leaning towards it. However, we do like the dome foot jet on the R8 which we can get for $550 more. I’m not bent on the extra size or depth tho. Any thoughts?

Does anyone have a Bullfrog in platinum/Driftwood and want to post a photo?

We have Platinum Driftwood and it was our #1 choice. Google it and click the images tab and there will be lots of photos.
