My WallyWorld had none left - infact most pool/spa stuff is down to one aisle and that doesn't have much on it....   :'(

I've had a pool for many many years. And now have a hot tub. At first I started using the strips supplied by my dealer. I also got a test kit which was given to me by a friend who no longer has a tub when he moved to a new house. (Although I think that he will get another one soon).

I find that I am so comfortable with my water management that I no longer test at home. I can look and feel the water and more or less know where it is at.  I do get my water tested on a monthly basis at my dealers and adjust whatever needs to be adjusted which is usually very minimal.

I know that this method is not for everyone, but for me it works very well.

For those who do not wish to invest in a Taylor Test Kit, please at least spring for the booklet that comes with it found here:

http://www.rhtubs.com/store/taylor-refill.htm

I really believe that the information in that booklet used in conjunction with the Watergram to figure the saturation index pays for itself with less use of chemicals and less chemicals introduced means less chemicals in which to soak.  IMHO, the Taylor Test Kit is not a luxury....it is a necessity.

I agree, the Taylor booklet is a wealth of information.  I personally do not follow the watergram because getting my satruation index in line includes calcium hardness and mine is low and I see no need to add any.
