Was out last night helping a friend move into her new home. After dinner, we talked about spas and there is a place near her, so we stopped in.
I swear this guy used to do car sales. The toothpick in the mouth, the cheshire cat grin. After his sales pitch, he took her a bit aside and said "I like you. Heres what I can do. You bring me a quote from anyone in this city on the same tub, and I'll beat it by 1,000.00." This sounded good to her.
Once back in the car, she told me of this, and I hated to break her heart, but he is the only one in the city selling that particular brand. What a crook.
