Wet testing is so important in deciding which tub to purchase. Here is some info that I hope you find useful.
1. If possible, test soak in the evening after the store is closed. This will help you relax and enjoy the experience more. It will also help you discover how determined the dealer is in helping you make the right decision.
2. Have the salesman explain the basic functions of the machine. Diverter Valves, Air injection buttons, opening/closing jets, lighting on/off. This will help you enjoy the features the tub has to offer.
3. Bring bottled water. You can enjoy this after you've been in the tub for about 10-15 minutes and you don't have to get out of the tub! It's very refreshing.
4. If the salesman is hovering nearby, ask him if he can give you some privacy. This will allow you to relax and play with the features of the tub without worrying about doing something "wrong" and being corrected by the salesman.
5. Bring your spouse/family/friend-whoever is going to be using the tub on a regular basis. This will help you determine if the tub is the right size. More importantly, this will determine if there is enough room in the footwell for everybody.
6. Move around in the tub, make sure you check out every seat, they are all different.
7. Allow yourself a minimum of 30 minutes in the tub to check out all the features. Take your time, it's an important decision.
Good Luck! Hope this helps.
