Hi Ridger, I like your setup there. I plan on doing something similar to this. What is that sticking up out of the concrete pad?

Thanks guys. Yes Cora, Hottubguy is correct. It is the conduit pipe for the wiring. They are hoping to do the acid stain on the concrete today, so I'm excited to see how that comes out. Hope to post more pictures soon.

Concrete was stained today. Now if I can just keep falling leaves off it while it dries.

Glad you guys are enjoying the photos. Hot tub is suppose to be here in two days. Of course electrician says he can't get here until tomorrow. So sure hope he does, in order for the hot tub guys to wire me into power and get it filled up. The landscaping is still ongoing.

Dear Diary,
Nothing like last minute wiring before hot tub is scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning. But Houston, we may have a problem. Rain. Causing a delay on gravel spreading that was going to offer drive-up drop-off access. So now I'm waiting to hear if a Jacuzzi J-480 can be maneuvered along a ten foot wide porch in order to reach the connected concrete pad. I'm sure some of you already know the answer to this question, and I should be finding it out pretty soon myself.

We were going to try to bring it across the porch and up the steps, but the bobcat driver saved us by laying a track of gravel across the muddy area. This allowed us to roll it down onto the concrete pad.

On my Spa delivery agreement electrical requirements, it called for 3 wires plus a ground wire, for a total of 4 wires, all #6 wire.

What it did NOT say was these four wires had to be in a three foot section of flexible conduit with a female plug adapter, if you want the Jacuzzi techs to get you wired up and running. SO, I had to break the speed limit running into town for these two items. It might be a good idea for future buyers to ask maintenance techs some extra questions on wiring requirements that aren't written down in your delivery agreement.
