Hot Tub Show This Weekend in Markham - Worth going to??

Hey Guys,

Has anyone ever been to one of these expos? I saw it advertised on TV.  Hot tub expo in Markham.  Is it worth going to if you're in the market? Or is it a bunch of shitty manufactures ?

I feel as if it is a bunch of crap brands ...

Please let me know because I am going to a cottage this weekend ... need to determine if it is worth coming back for !!

I went to several home shows where different well known brands were there. Like bullfrog and hot spring. The traveling hot tub shows were no good in my opinion.

I found home shows to be good.  The last time I went to an "expo" turned out to be just Master Spas and no other brands.  I went to the website for the Markam expo  and they do not say what "brands" but pics look to be Master Spas.

Expo's are fine unless its Master's traveling circus where they pretend its representing multiple manufacturers but its just their road show to pedal their less than stellar product.

Master spa has a less than stellar reputation, I would skip it but maybe you should go and check it out for yourself. Just don't get pressured to buy what they are peddling.

 If the ad starts out SPAS, SPAS, SPAS!  major mnfg on hand, free parking free admission will even haul your old one away for free..   It's master spas.

In my region is Barefoot Spas.  Not knocking the brand, just the guys that run it:  Rush in town, sell spas, peace-out with your cash, and now you gotta get everything done (warranty, delivery, chemicals, support, etc) on your own.  Not the preferred way of doing business.  Plus- its always "80% off!" but really- off of what?  I can make up any number but if I am going to sell it at $X, that is what its going to sell for.

It's Master. If you lookup "Spa Expo Markham" on Google the advertising images used for that event are all Master stock images that can be found on their website. You should hit them up if you're in need of some good BS.

They've got their scam down to a science though and are really great at tricking people into dumb ideas.  As evidenced by the fact that they keep making money at this for years now.  Otherwise smart people fall for the bullshit.
