Hot Spring vs Marquis

Never had a hot tub and have never shopped for one.

Based on where I live the two best dealers appear to be Marquis and Hot Springs.

I'm looking for 5-7 person hot tub and ideally looking to spend $8k-$9K.  Will spend a little more if worth it.

My challenge is that my initial impression is that the prices are not very transparent and very negotiable so don't know what a fair price is.

Any suggestions on which models for these two brands I should be looking at?

I was just about to post the question hot springs Pulse vs marquis V94.  Both are priced similar at my local store,  8500ish.
Any opinion on the two?  I know the warranty stands out to me on the pulse.  Any thoughts?

Yes, my opinion is they are 2 of the better brands out there so you aren't making a mistake on either. for that reason no one here can really tell you which one you should get.

By all means compare features, price, warranty... but the wise move would be to wet test both as that often will lead you in a certain direction.

I looked at both of those but pulse was 11k and v94 was only 7900. huge difference so im leaning towards the v94

Both good brands.

Marquis made in USA, Limelight made in Mexico if that is important to you.

$7900 is ridiculously low on the V94, that spa sells for $10-11K in most markets.

The Vector21 series has some really powerful jets, I really like how you can run all of the jets at the same time or isolate the power in to just 1-2 seats.  I think you will notice a bit more power on the Marquis vs the Limelight.

I'll chime in to.  The pulse we sell for $10k+ all day.  Sounds like you are getting a killer deal on either Marquis or Hot Spring.
