SUNDANCE Pricing and option help
« on: February 22, 2017, 11:07:04 pm »
Hello!  I am in the market for a hot tub.  I have wet tested a Hot Springs Flair, Sundance Cameo & Peyton, and finally Jacuzzi J355 and J585.  I ruled out the Hot Springs and then I felt that the jets in the sundance were way better than that of the jacuzzi ones.
I am now deciding whether to go with a 880 Cameo or the 680 Peyton.  I was quoted $11,700 ($800 home show discount) for the cameo if I finance for 12 months or less or it would be $13,000 if financed over 5 years.  The 680 Peyton I was quoted $6700 for 12 months or $7499 for 60 months financing.

My questions are how much wiggle room does the dealer have on those prices?  I would really like to get the Cameo but at 60 months financing it comes out to about $185/month with $3000 down.  Is there a website or a way to find out what others are paying for a Cameo?  Any opinions of another hot tub that will give me the power in the foot jets like the cameo has the the wonderful comfort of all the seats and lounger.

Thank you in advance

I'm in New England and my competition is at 13k for that Sundance tub. 60 month financing costs the dealers a pretty penny to use that's why the discrepancy in price.

I picked up a used Cameo (2013) that had the original invoice, check out my post in the show us your hot tub section.  The $11k price seems pretty good, again review my post.

I went back in to the store and they had a 6 year old altamar 880
Series and they are asking $8000 for it. Is that a fair price for a 6 year old tub with a 2 year warranty on it?

I agree 8000 is too high!   They putting any kind of warranty on it, new cover, new ozone?   Around here it would fetch 4500 to 5000 depending on the extras.  4000 would be btm out.

2 year warranty is worth something. 8k is still too high but with a 2 year warranty I think 6000-6500 is fair

I missed the warranty in the post sorry.   With that yes 6 to 6500 not bad.  Offer 5500 cash see if they will budge.. Altamar is a great spa!    Pretty much what I have only in the Jacuzzi line.
