Need help getting the correct 110v to 220v power converter

Hello everyone.

I am thinking of buying a 220v hot tub. And to make things simple and avoid having to hire an electrician to do the wiring which would be quite expensive, I want to buy a 110v to 220v converter box. However, I see that there are different types of hot tub power plugs as shown here: http://www.hottuboutpost.com/cords-cables-plugs/

So, here is what I'm wondering. Is there a 110v to 220v converter box that is made specifically for hot tub power plugs? And if so, where can I find them?

All 220 tubs I've ever seen need to be hard wired not plugged in. At the minimum they would require 30 amps. Don't burn your house down spend a little money and hire a licensed electrician

Your first link shows pictures of different plugs that various piece of equipment (ozonators, blowers, pumps etc,) used in hot tubs have, that plug into the controller of the hot tub. These are NOT the main plugs used to supply power to the entire hot tub. Hot tubs, 220v, don't have plugs. They also use far more power than any of your converters would supply....and even if there was a converted that would work, you'd need an electrician to run a MASSIVE 110v circuit to it in order to supply enough current. It would be FAR cheaper to just have an electrician run the proper 220v circuit directly to the spa.

There's no short cut here. You'll need an electrician.

If you really want to run on 110V outlet I would find a 110 V tub.

The other option would be lots of hacking, The second link you provided will create 220V but the amperage would be limited to 15 or maybe 20 amps depending on how your home is wired.  My tub uses 220V 50 amp...  so even with that hack your about half the amperage that you need.

IF you really want to hack up something, maybe running a outdoor rated cord for 50 amps and plug into the oven outlet in your kitchen.
