Topping off your tub

Quick, hopefully simple question. How often do y'all have to top off your tubs due to evaporation, splash, etc? I noticed the other day i was down an inch maybe and added a bit of water. Just curious if it's normal, and how often you have to re-up. I'm in WNY, so with winter coming, the hose isn't an option and it wont exactly be an easy task.

Depends on how much I use it, how often my kids are in splashing around. I very rarely have to but I did notice mine is a little down now so thanks for bringing the topic up. You said you're down a inch. How long of a period of time are you talking
