Deciding on Jacuzzi J-345 ?
« on: August 01, 2004, 10:38:32 am »
I am close to purchasing Jacuzzi J-345.
Looking for feedback on the deal!
cover
cover lift
ozone
start-up chemicals
step
multi-glo light
delivery
$5895 + CT 6% sales tax
Total: $6248

I wanted the J-365 but was quoted almost $1500 more from same dealer..and I am a little concerned with the depth of the J365 as my wife is only 5 ft. tall

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Hi rrct, you can buy spa booster seats.  We have one for my youngest son and it works great.  You fill it with water, its like a mini waterbed bladder.  It will give your wife an extra 4-5inches.  Congrats on the new spa!

My wife and I were quoted $6,248 without a stereo at a store in North Branford.  That price did not include a cover lifter, steps, or sales tax.   We liked the tub but were unable to wet test it--or any other tub there, for that matter--because the dealer did not have any filled.  I have only found 2 Jacuzzi Premium dealers in CT--the other in Torrington.  Neither is nearby (a big worry to us if service is needed) and neither has any of their Jacuzzis available to wet test (also a big concern).  Jacuzzi's web site gives me a dealer in NY on the other side of the Hudson River, but I haven't called him.  Where did you find your deal and were you able to wet test?

I got the dealer off the Jacuzzi website
They are in Colchester..
They have one filled tub but it's not the J-345.

Good Luck

Doesn't sound too bad of a deal to me. Here in East TN our local Jacuzzi dealer quoted my wife and I a price of $6,050 for the J-345 including the ozonator, a cover (big deal) steps and a booster cushion. In TN we also have to pay sales tax of 9.25%....ouch!!!

We haven't accepted the deal as we were not able to wet test and we are still looking at competing brands.

That's not bad with the cover lift, steps and multi-light thrown in. As long as the dealer has a pretty good reputation you can't go wrong with the Jaccuzi. We were sold on last years model the J-340 but the dealer wouldn't budge and was only throwing in some chemicals . The price then is about the same your getting now. Since Jaccuzi has partnered with Sundance they're even better than before.
