Bullfrog A8 Electrical Panel

Moving from a 20-amp/30-amp HotSpring electrical box. What exactly is needed for a Bullfrog A8? I would appreciate if you would let me know what I'll need.

The HotSpring panel and circuit breakers are for sale if anyone is interested.

Regular old 50 amp gfci

50 Amp GFCI, and then you'll need to pull new wire from the panel to the hot tub (4 wires for the BF #8s) versus the #10 & #12 for the Hot Spring.

I just pulled 4 #6 wires for the A8 from the 50a GFCI

The wire from the house circuit breaker reads: Romex Simpull (TM) AWG 6 CU3 CDR with AWG 10 Ground Type NMB 600 Volts Covered. This goes from the house circuit breaker out to the 20/30 amp panel on the outside. Probably around 54 feet of it from CB to outside box.

Lowe's and HD had Eaton 50-amp panel "BR" series. It states to use a different series for outdoor use. The HotSpring panel setup was around $400.

Look like the Eaton CH500SPA may be a good choice. It's a good size box with touted premium features.

Dont you have to use #6 wire ? or is #8 acceptable for 50 amps ?
